Washington, D.C. – As the Washington Capitals and Wizards prepare to kick off their regular seasons this month, Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s (MSE) Capital One Arena today unveiled a wide array of new features and amenities for fans and visitors. The announcement also included a refreshed concessions lineup released in partnership with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, Capital One Arena’s exclusive food and beverage partner.

Since opening its doors in 1997, Capital One Arena has become the epicenter of sports and entertainment in the nation’s capital. The building hosts an average of 220 events per year and welcomes nearly three million guests annually. The arena has generated nearly $800 million in tax revenue for the District since opening its doors.

“For each event we host, we strive night after night to ensure that the fan experience at Capital One Arena is second to none,” said Jordan Silberman, President, Venues at Monumental Sports & Entertainment. “Guests visiting the arena this season can expect to see exciting new food and beverage options, state-of-the-art premium seating spaces, innovative technology used throughout the building, and a warm, welcoming hospitality experience.”

New updates include:

Food and Beverage

Chiko: A D.C. favorite, Chiko will serve Chinese-Korean fusion concessions, including crab rangoon, bulgogi loaded tots, sticky Chinese ribs, and more at Section 106.

Honeymoon Chicken: Honeymoon Chicken will bring their elevated fried chicken dishes like sandwiches and chicken bites from the heart of Washington D.C to Section 110.

Little Miner Taco: Fans can try various tacos, street corn, and more from this local restaurant partner at Sections 107 and 432.

Stuggy’s Sandwich Shop: A Baltimore staple known for its clever gourmet hot dogs is coming to Section 105 at the arena. Menu items will include the Crab Mac and Cheese Dog as well as the D.C. Dog, Mini Corn Dogs, and Cheese Curds.

The New Fashioned: Guests can find this delicious Ritual Zero Proof® Whiskey Alternative (non-alcoholic) with cherries, bitters, and simple syrup at Section 407.

GS Draft ReverseTap Smart Dispensers: Guests 21+ at Capital One Arena now have access to GS Draft ReverseTap Smart Dispensers. This system uses specialized equipment and cups to fill draft beer from the bottom, avoiding excessive foam. Fans with a valid, government-issued ID can find these dispensers in the checkout-free market at Section 108.

Bartesian Cocktail Machines: Providing bar-quality cocktails at the push of a button, Capital One Arena will feature Bartesian cocktail machines at several locations throughout the venue for guests 21+.

Premium Spaces
Signature Club & Lounge: Set to debut later this year, the Signature Club & Lounge is a new premium guest experience space at Capital One Arena. The sleek modern lounge, located at the corner of 7th Street and Gallery Place, offers early entry and exclusive access to members ahead of Capitals and Wizards games. The space will feature an exceptional food and beverage lineup from the José Andrés Group.

Hennessy Lofts: This luxury courtside section is one of the most exclusive premium seating areas during Wizards games at Capital One Arena. Each loft features a private table with a curated five-course dining experience and access to a full bar menu curated by Hennessy. Guests are served by a dedicated service team, receive their choice of transportation benefit, and have access to all Wizards VIP membership perks.

Retail
The Overtime Shop: Fans looking to purchase the latest Capitals and Wizards merchandise from Fanatics are encouraged to stop by the expanded Overtime shop located at Section 118.

Self-Checkout: To help expedite the checkout process, self-checkout options will be available to fans in the main team store, as well as the Overtime Shop at Section 118. Both locations will also have multiple handheld points of sale to help fans easily purchase their gear and get back to their seats.

Other Updates
District Bites: District Bites, nestled inside District E powered by Ticketmaster, is the best spot for fans to gather for game day happy hour specials. Conveniently located inside Gallery Place, District Bites offers specialty dishes featuring locally-sourced ingredients – from Detroit-style pizza to handmade desserts. Happy Hour runs each day from 4 to 7 PM featuring $7 drafts and $10 apps.

Fan Entrances: Capital One Arena will continue to be the leader in frictionless screening technology for NHL and NBA games. After debuting for NHL games in 2021, Capital One Arena will deploy technology from Evolv and CEIA for NBA games starting this season. This technology is designed to get fans into the arena faster and in a less invasive manner than traditional walk-through magnetometers.

F St. Grand Bar: Serving a wide variety of beer and cocktails, fans 21+ are invited to check out this exciting and convenient new bar located at Section 100.

50/50 Raffle: MSE Foundation (MSEF) is hosting the popular 50/50 raffle for all Capitals and Wizards home games. Fans will have the option to purchase tickets online or in-arena at 50/50 raffle kiosks at Sections 106 and 120 or from roving sellers. Raffle proceeds directly support MSEF programming and events benefiting D.C.-area nonprofits and community partners. Tickets are sold in the following increments: 10 tickets for $10, 40 tickets for $20, 100 tickets for $40 and 300 tickets for $100.
