Monumental Sports & Entertainment to Introduce New, Members-Only Club & Lounge Space at Capital One Arena

The Signature Club & Lounge boasts a new culinary experience curated by José Andrés Group to debut in the 2023-24 NHL & NBA Seasons

Washington, D.C. – Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) has developed a new premium guest experience for events at Capital One Arena, the Signature Club & Lounge, set to debut this fall. A sleek modern lounge at the corner of 7th Street and Gallery Place offers early entry and exclusive access to the space ahead of Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards games. Membership also carries the privilege of presale priority for the hundreds of concerts and events at Capital One Arena – where mega artists like the Jonas Brothers, Drake and Bruce Springsteen perform.

Among the striking features across the Signature Club & Lounge is the food and beverage design, the latest in culinary artistry by José Andrés Group, the company from renowned chef and global humanitarian José Andrés, who has partnered with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, the award-winning hospitality provider for Capital One Arena, to delight guests.

The new Signature Club & Lounge will have a limited number of memberships to maintain an exceptionally high-quality experience for guests. Members may take advantage of a dedicated point-of-entry to the Signature Club to enjoy the very best in hospitality and then travel directly across the concourse to the Signature Cocktail Lounge within a redesigned mega-suite before heading to their seats. Member’s seat locations have been hand-selected for guests to be closest to center court/ice for 15 Wizards and 15 Capitals games in the first year, elevating to 20 games per team each season after. Members will also experience presale preference for any concert or event at the arena, with seats located with exceptional views of the artists and stage.

The nearly 5,000 square foot space has been designed by global architecture, design and planning firm, Gensler to be the new arrival point to the arena for Signature Club members and guests. Taking advantage of the visibility from 7th Street, the large amounts of glazing bring exterior light and activity into the space. With high ceilings and access directly to the 100-level concourse, this new premium space accentuates its unique placement with the largest seated bar in the arena. The new area will feature top-of-the-line finishes, color-changing lights, and ample gathering space for members on event and non-event days. Action stations will serve world-class food and beverages.

The new food and beverage concept in the club will combine the gastronomic genius of the José Andrés Group with inspiration from regional favorites. Due to this partnership, Capital One Arena will continue to be the destination for a heightened quality of food to match the exciting entertainment value created during the sports season and on and off the stage.
