As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Steve Miller leads Monumental’s finance organization, which includes corporate real estate, controllership, enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury functions, driving MSE’s financial strategy and corporate development efforts.
Prior to joining MSE, Miller served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Warby Parker (NYSE:WRBY) and was the financial architect of the company’s successful funding rounds and its highly successful direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Miller has held a range of executive leadership positions during his highly successful career, including Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Majestic Research, a pioneering data-driven research firm where he led the sale of the company to ITG (now part of Virtu Financial). Earlier, he was Vice President in Comerica Bank’s Technology and Life Sciences Division, where he opened the Bank’s New York office. He began his career at Monitor Company as a strategy consultant and served as an Urban Fellow in New York City.
Miller is a board trustee of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. He also serves on the board of the Ubuntu Education Fund, a nonprofit health and education provider in South Africa as well as the board of Dandelion Chocolate. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
