Washington, D.C. (September 25, 2025) – Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) and the Bryan 11 Foundation – which provides financial support for student-athletes to pursue private education in the greater Washington, D.C. area – today announced an agreement-in-principle for a new broadcast and production partnership, expanding MNMT’s robust local high school sports coverage. The partnership will bring the second annual Legends Senior Bowl to fans across the region on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM (game is scheduled for Saturday, December 20 at 11:30 AM and will air on tape delay). MNMT will fully produce the game and provide a broadcast team featuring the network’s on-air talent.
The Legends Senior Bowl was created to honor the legacy of Bryan Strittmatter, a standout football player at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Md. The game serves as both a celebration of his life and a platform to advance the Foundation’s mission: supporting student-athletes and uniting communities through sports and education.
The annual all-star game provides senior student-athletes with a unique opportunity to learn from the area’s top coaches, showcase their skills to college recruiters, and participate in one final high school football game—with the potential of earning opportunities to continue their academic and athletic journeys at the collegiate level.
This year’s game will be held at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Md. Teams will be led by two of the DMV’s most accomplished coaches: Andy Stefanelli (Our Lady of Good Counsel) and Pat Ward (St. John’s College High School). Legendary coaches Jim Fegan (Georgetown Preparatory School) and Willie Stewart (Anacostia High School) will serve as “Legend Coaches,” lending their experience and wisdom to the student-athletes.
“Partnering with Monumental Sports Network ensures these incredible student-athletes have a platform to showcase their talents while sharing Bryan’s story and advancing the mission of the Bryan 11 Foundation,” said John Strittmatter, Bryan’s father.
“We are honored to bring the excitement of the Legends Senior Bowl to viewers across the DMV,” said Caitlin Mangum, Vice President, Content & Programming at MNMT. “This partnership reflects our deep commitment to shining a light on the next generation of talent and supporting the local communities that rally around them. It’s a meaningful event for the region, and we’re proud to help share it with fans throughout the area.”
Households in the network’s coverage area can watch this highly anticipated event on MNMT, the local television media rights holder for the NHL’s Washington Capitals, NBA’s Washington Wizards, WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and NBA G League’s Capital City Go-Go, as well as extensive high school and collegiate sports programming. The Legends Senior Bowl is the latest addition to a loaded 2025 football slate on MNMT. MNMT also aired several prestigious D.C.-area high school basketball tournaments during the 2024-25 season.
