Washington, D.C. (November 17, 2025) – Fans driving to tonight’s Washington Capitals game against the Los Angeles Kings at Capital One Arena, as well as those traveling to Wednesday’s home game against the Edmonton Oilers, are advised to allow extra travel time due to parking restrictions and street closures in effect now through Thursday, November 20, 2025.

The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced that there will be road closures and emergency no-parking zones that motorists should take into consideration effective until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday.
