Washington, D.C. (June 9, 2025) – Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) will offer fans live coverage as Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie makes a special announcement tonight, starting at 5:30 PM ET.
MNMT’s hour-long special will feature a broadcast of Oshie’s announcement followed by an exclusive interview with Oshie and the fan-favorite duo of Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin. MNMT’s Al Koken and Alan May will host the broadcast, with analyst Tarik El-Bashir contributing to coverage.
Coverage of the announcement will be available to fans both on linear tv and via streaming platforms within the network’s footprint, stretching from Delaware to Richmond. The event will take place at the Washington Harbour in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. June 9 marks the anniversary of the Capitals players swimming in the fountains in celebration of their 2018 Stanley Cup victory.
