Awards from Newsweek, Washington Business Journal and The Washington Post highlight Monumental’s excellence in workplace culture
Washington, D.C. (June 23, 2025) – Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) has been recognized for its workplace culture, employee experience and benefit offerings with a slate of 2025 Best Workplace honors from both national and local organizations.
On June 19th 2025, The Washington Post named MSE as #21 on the 2025 Greater Washington Area Top Workplaces list – one of the most prestigious workplace honors in the metropolitan D.C. area. The award is based on employee feedback gathered through a confidential survey administered by a third party that measured employees’ experiences and satisfaction with their workplace.
The recent honor builds on additional workplace award wins earlier this year. In May, Washington Business Journal named MSE one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington, highlighting the company’s work going “above and beyond” to create an outstanding workplace culture. The results, similarly based on confidential, third-party employee surveys, reflect success in team dynamics, trust in leadership, staff communications and more. In April, MSE was named one of America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces in 2025 by Newsweek based on a comprehensive third-party data analysis of over 120 key performance indicators.
“Monumental knows that the formula for winning – on or off the court and ice – is about the hard work, energy and dedication every individual contributes to our entire team,” said Kelly Skoloda, Chief People Officer, Monumental Sports & Entertainment. “Each member of the MSE family plays a role in our company’s exemplary workplace culture, and we are honored by the positive feedback from across our workforce and to be recognized by these organizations for our tradition of excellence.”
In addition to the recent workplace awards, MSE, its independent media network, Monumental Sports Network (MNMT), and a broad roster of staff members have been honored with awards on the local and national levels in the first half of 2025. These awards further showcase the talent, commitment and excellence that has built MSE’s award-winning workplace, including:
