About NBC Sports Washington
In September 2022, MSE acquired the regional sports network, then-called NBC Sports Washington and announced in June 2023 that the station will be rebranded as Monumental Sports Network. The rebranding takes effect in September of 2023. In the interim the legacy NBCSW branding and programming will remain in place. Monumental Sports Network is the exclusive local TV rightsholder for Washington Capitals, Wizards and Mystics games. It is also the linear and digital home for those teams plus the NBA G League’s Capital City Go-Go and the NBA 2K League’s Wizards District Gaming games and carries behind-the-scenes features, exclusive programming and up-to-the-minute sports news and information.
