Monumental Sports & Entertainment and TekSynap Highlight Success from Continued Partnership

Community impact and fan engagement at the forefront of the first segment of the multiyear partnership

Washington, D.C. — Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE)’s continued partnership with TekSynap, an industry leader in information technology and technical services for federal government agencies directly and through partnerships, has proved instrumental for both organizations and the communities they serve. This announcement comes after TekSynap was named one of the fastest-growing companies by Washington Business Journal for the 6th year.

Since February 2020, the MSE and TekSynap partnership has allowed both organizations to elevate their brands among critical audiences, including fans and government leaders who often merge within the MSE-owned Capital One Arena walls for games and events. The entities also share an increased focus on community engagement and impact.

“With 2 years into our partnership with TekSynap, we couldn’t be prouder of the things we’ve been able to accomplish together,” said Patrick Duffy, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships. “We look forward to the future of our relationship, bringing more awareness amongst fans and increased opportunities to impact our region.”

In spring 2020, TekSynap served as a sponsoring partner for The Great One vs. The Great 8 NHL20 event that pit Washington Capital’s Alex Ovechkin against NHL legend Wayne Gretzky in a best-of-three tournament to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. Featuring nearly 25k concurrent users, the esports charity event raised $41,041.67 to benefit the MSE Foundation’s “Feeding the Frontlines” and the Edmonton Food Bank. The TekSynap branded event held a total broadcast reach of over 280K live viewers and nearly 3M total impressions on social media.

“Finding opportunities to give back to our communities, partners and employees is core to who we are at TekSynap. We are looking forward to reaching new heights with MSE in 2022,” said Kamran Jinnah, TekSynap CEO

TekSynap’s mission emphasizes the honor and obligation to give back as private and corporate citizens. Each year, through corporate and in-kind giving, event participation, and employee volunteerism. TekSynap supports a wide range of local charities, technology initiatives, and community organizations with philanthropic efforts reaching a diverse set of causes driven by employees, customers, and the communities they serve.

The scope of the partnership with TekSynap includes permanent dasherboard signage and rotating appearances on multiple video boards all around the arena concourse. In addition, TekSynap maintains a suite in Capital One Arena, offering premium game and event access to TekSynap leadership.

Throughout the length of the partnership, MSE and TekSynap will continue to develop additional opportunities to engage with local leaders and community members and produce new ways to give back to the DMV region.
