Verizon Becomes the Newest Partner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment and the Official 5G Partner of the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards

Verizon will provide 5G technology built right to the NBA and NHL franchises in an exclusive deal which will enhance fan experiences in-game, on social media and through digital platforms

Monumental Sports & Entertainment today announced that Verizon will become its exclusive 5G provider and is the latest partner of the Washington Capitals and Wizards.

Through this partnership, Verizon will support numerous integrations for each team to create an unrivaled fan experience in-game, on social media platforms and through digital media.

As part of the partnership, and when fans return to the arena, Verizon will bring exclusive experiences to Capitals and Wizards game-goers, including opportunities to win tickets and behind-the-scenes experiences during future Wizards and Capitals games. Additionally, Verizon will work with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, parent company of the Washington Capitals and Wizards and owner of the teams’ competition venue, Capital One Arena, to further integrate a 5G network built to enhance the overall fan experience.
