The Patrick family name is synonymous with the sport of hockey and the National Hockey League. Lester Patrick’s (grandfather) legacy as longtime coach and general manager of the New York Rangers is honored with the Lester Patrick Trophy, awarded annually for “outstanding service to hockey in the United States”. Mr. Patrick himself earned the Trophy in 2012. Muzz Patrick (father) and Lynn Patrick (uncle) were Stanley Cup Champions with the New York Rangers, and in 2018, Mr. Patrick and Chris (son) became the six and seventh members of the Patrick family to win a Stanley Cup. A part of the Washington Capitals organization since 1982 and one of the original partners of Monumental, Mr. Patrick has been a central force in the growth and success of the company.
