Traffic Alert: Vice President Harris’ Speech to Impact Fans Driving to Tuesday’s Capitals Game

Fans driving to Tuesday night’s Washington Capitals game at Capital One Arena are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternative modes of transportation due to road closures for Vice President Kamala Harris’ address on the Ellipse that evening. The Capitals are scheduled to play the New York Rangers on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.

The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced that there will be parking restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration throughout the afternoon and evening, including some in the vicinity of Capital One Arena.
