Monumental Sports Network Announces 2024 College Football Broadcast Schedule

Independent Network to Air 19 College Football Games This Season; Reups Partnerships with Towson, Richmond, and HBCU GO 

Washington, D.C. (August 20, 2024) Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) is your home for DMV-area college football during the 2024 season. Today, the award-winning local media platform announced partnerships with area schools University of Richmond and Towson University, as well as HBCU GO, to air a robust selection of college football games during the upcoming season. Monumental’s 2024 college football schedule features 19 games – the most in network history – including 15 games featuring Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and matchups with local schools like William & Mary, Virginia Union, and Morgan State.  

Monumental Sports Network’s college football coverage begins on Sunday, September 1 as Virginia Union takes on Kentucky State. All Richmond and Towson games on MNMT will air live, while recorded games via HBCU GO will air on Sundays throughout the fall, giving area fans a chance to watch their favorite teams all season long.

More than three million households in the network’s coverage area can watch local college football action on MNMT over the coming months. Fans with a pay tv subscription can watch games on Monumental Sports Network where included in their channel lineup and will also be able to stream games at www.monumentalsportsnetwork.com or by downloading the Monumental Sports Network app on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV and using an eligible TV Everywhere log-in. 

As part of the partnership with Towson, Monumental Sports Network will also air two Towson women’s volleyball games on the network during the upcoming season: Friday, October 4 vs. North Carolina A&T (3 PM) and Sunday, November 3 vs. Northeastern (2 PM). 

Monumental Sports Network is the exclusive local television media rights holder for the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. It also proudly boasts a comprehensive schedule of original programming and live men’s and women’s college basketball, college football, college volleyball, high school basketball, and esports, as well as Washington Spirit (NWSL), Old Glory DC (Major League Rugby), Washington Freedom (Major League Cricket), Hershey Bears (AHL), and Annapolis Blues (NPSL) games.
