Monumental Sports & Entertainment Introduces Official Esports Streaming Team: District Elite

Monumental’s latest esports endeavor features five official streamers spanning multiple games and platforms.

Washington, DC – Monumental Sports & Entertainment today debuted the District Elite, the organization’s first official esports streaming and content creation team. The collective features five accomplished gamers with expertise in multiple titles to represent Monumental in the online gaming industry. The District Elite will stream remotely from any location in the world and in the state-of-the-art streaming pods at the soon-to-be-opened District E Powered by Ticketmaster.

The debut of the District Elite creates a new platform in gaming and esports for more traditional gaming fans to engage with Monumental Esports and its unique content creators to reach a new and emerging audience in the DMV. With the overall mission to grow the DMV esports and gaming community, the new team will help develop local up-and-coming gaming and esports content creators.

“With the District Elite and all of Monumental’s esports initiatives, our goal is to strengthen our local gaming and esports communities while supporting esports as an international industry,” said James Bittner, Manager, Caps Gaming and District Elite. “We’ve selected motivated and passionate streamers who will be integral in being the voices of the gaming community when it comes to programming new events and creating content that our fans will want to see.”

At launch, the team consists of four local streamers who have been impactful in the DMV esports scene and one streamer from Canada who has been a driving force in NHL esports for several years:

NoSleeves has been a social media influencer and NHL streamer/caster since 2015. He has a passion for sports games and has made a name for himself casting some of the largest NHL esports events in history, including the NHL Gaming World Championships, multiple club tournaments, and the first ever 6v6 LAN that was hosted by Caps Gaming back in 2020.

LadyBlueFlames is a big promoter of the WNBA and personal fitness and wellness. She has been integrated in the MSE community for over a year now making appearances at various events and conventions repping the Washington Mystics and Wizards District Gaming.

Dashboard was a Rainbow Six Siege professional esports player gone professional streamer. His expertise in esports tournaments and events add to Monumental’s newly formed event space as content and programming beyond traditional sports games is developed.

JHobz is a competitive speed runner and Twitch streamer who notably has experience with Games Done Quick, a popular speed running event that takes place around the DC area. Speedrunning is a brand-new type of gaming experience that Monumental will be exploring.

AshBeGaming is a Facebook Gaming streamer who focuses on NBA 2K gameplay. She creates a relaxed gaming atmosphere in her streams that invite good vibes in a safe gaming community. AshBeGaming was also the first original 2K female streamer to make Partner of Facebook Gaming.
