DESIGNER BRETT JOHNSON PARTNERS WITH MONUMENTAL SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards announced today that designer Brett Johnson has partnered with the Wizards to serve as artistic director for the team. As artistic director, Johnson will help enhance the team’s visibility with global brands, design exclusive apparel for the team and curate unique experiences.

 

“I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to work with the Washington Wizards and Monumental Sports & Entertainment brands,” said Johnson. “I grew up cheering for the Wizards and I am excited to get to work.”

 

The brand director of his eponymous line, Johnson’s focus lies in high luxury fashion. Johnson, who grew up in the greater D.C. metropolitan area, has his showroom and headquarters located in Milan, Italy. He personally shows his collections twice a year during Milan Fashion Week, one of the premier exhibitions of high-end menswear.

 

Prior to his endeavors in fashion, Johnson was a producer of the blockbuster film “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” which grossed nearly $200M globally.
